Hull City boss Steve Bruce has rejected claims of interest in Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson.
The Swede has been linked with a move to the KC.
"Silly season is about to start and I'm going to be linked to this one and that one," said Bruce.
"I read it in two national newspapers I was in for Seb Larsson. That's not the case, I'm very pleased with (Ahmed) Elmohamady and (Liam) Rosenior on the right so I don't know where that's come from.
"I'm never going to comment on players that belong to other clubs but some of the stuff I keep reading about is quite ludicrous.
"I sometimes laugh and ask where do they get this nonsense from? It does become quite humorous."
