Hull City boss Steve Bruce was happy for matchwinner Nick Proschwitz after victory over Capital One Cup opponents Huddersfield.

The out-of-favour German rattled in a half-volley in the 59th minute from George Boyd's flick to win it for Bruce's men.

Bruce said: "The one thing the kid can do is score goals. That part is so easy for him. It's the other parts of his game he needs to improve - but he's better than he was 12 months ago."
