Hull City boss Steve Bruce is excited about their deal for Evian striker Yannick Sagbo.

Bruce has likened Sagbo to Aston Villa ace Christian Benteke.

"You look at Benteke before he went to Aston Villa, he didn't have a prolific goalscoring record but he had all the attributes to play in the Premier league. He is big, strong, powerful and quick, and our boy is a little bit like that too," Bruce told talkSPORT.

"It is not done and dusted yet but he is in the country, we are talking to him today, and we hope we can push it over the line in the next 24 to 48 hours.

"He is something different to what we have got. He is big, strong and powerful and he likes to run in behind a little bit, which we haven't had a lot of."
