Hull City boss Steve Bruce has admitted some regret selling Shane Long to Southampton.

Long left Hull for Southampton for £12m last summer, just eight months after moving to the KC Stadium from West Brom.

"You always worry that, when you play against them, it's going to be one of those awful moments," Bruce said.

"But that's what management's about - making decisions. And you hope you get more right than you get wrong. If you get more wrong, then you're in trouble."
