Hull City boss Steve Bruce hopes to add to his squad next month.
He is warning fans not to expect an influx of new blood as the opening of the window looms.
"We're looking at one or two maximum," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail. "Why shouldn't I be happy with the squad I've got? The players have been terrific for me.
"There's nothing quite like a player coming through the door to give them a lift but I don't need to be looking at four, five or six. If one becomes available, one quality player, we'll look to do it."
