Hull City boss Steve Bruce has heaped praise on attacker George Boyd.

Boyd was superb in their FA Cup win over Middlesbrough.

"If everyone was like George Boyd my job would be very, very easy," said Bruce. "Sometimes as a manager you have to make decisions that are ridiculous really but he's a great lad.

"He's fantastic to work with because he trains like he plays, he's effervescent. He just enjoys playing. Six years ago he was playing non-league and that's made him the humble lad that he is. I can't speak highly enough of him because he's a delight."
