Hull City boss Steve Bruce is moving for Dundee United fullback Andrew Robertson on Gordon Strachan's recommendation.
The Mirror says Bruce wants to tie up a move for the young defender quickly and ahead of bids from several Premier League rivals.
The Tigers' chief wants Robertson to come to England on Tuesday for talks after increasing offers for him over the past few days.
Bruce has spoken to old pal and Scotland coach Strachan about Robertson and received rave reviews.
