Hull City boss Steve Bruce is flattered by Aston Villa's interest.
Bruce is among the favourites to take over at Villa Park after French boss Remi Garde was sacked this week.
He said: "It's flattering for any manager. We've worked so hard over the past eight months to turn things around after the disappointment of relegation. That's the only thing I'm interested in, getting us over the line.
"It's very flattering, but there's been no approaches, nothing like that."
Bruce was asked if there was any release clause in his contract with the Tigers.
He said: "That's for me and my contract. I don't think you need to know about that."
