Hull City boss Steve Bruce is delighted with the instant impact of new signing Tom Huddlestone.
The 26-year-old midfielder was deemed surplus to requirements at Tottenham after the summer arrivals of Paulinho and Etienne Capoue.
"He has that natural gift to make the game look so easy and that is the sign of a great player," said Bruce of his record signing.
"I brought him a cup of coffee in a London hotel and just said "do you want to come and play?" He could have quite easily sat there on the Tottenham bench and taken the money."
