Hull City boss Steve Bruce is ready to bid for Tottenham defender Michael Dawson.
The Mirror says Bruce is poised to pour another £4million into Tottenham's coffers by snapping up Dawson.
The Hull boss has turned his sights on the north Londoners' skipper Dawson, 30, after losing out to West Bromwich Albion on former England centre-back Joleon Lescott.
The Tigers paid Spurs £5.25m for Tom Huddlestone last summer and midfielder Jake Livermore is primed to make his season-long loan from White Hart Lane permanent after the clubs agreed a £7million fee.
