Hull City boss Steve Bruce won't play Hatem Ben Arfa from the start against Manchester City.

Ben Arfa will not be considered for a start, but could be used off the bench following an impressive full debut at West Bromwich Albion.

"We have to box clever with him," said Bruce. "It would be wrong of me to ask him to play two games in four days when he hasn't played one game in seven months."
