Hull City boss Steve Bruce is hoping local rivals North Ferriby United can win the FA Trophy Final on Sunday against Wrexham.
The Tigers have a close connection with Ferriby and in a statement on City's official website, Tigers boss Steve Bruce wished the Villagers the best of luck.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for North Ferriby United and we're delighted for everybody connected with the club. It's a fantastic achievement to get to Wembley," said Bruce.
"We have a close association with North Ferriby and it is the first fixture we chalk in every pre-season. "Everybody here wishes North Ferriby United the best of luck. They appear to be the underdogs in this game, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled off a shock because they have put together a very decent team."
