Hull City boss Steve Bruce is aware of Aston Villa's interest.

The Mirror says Bruce is insisting on a hefty transfer kitty to rescue Aston Villa this summer after being sounded out to save the club.

Boss Remi Garde's short-lived Villa reign is doomed to end this summer with the club virtually certain to go down.

Villa have already started considering replacements to take charge of them in the Championship.
