Hull boss Brown won't rule out 'confusing' bid for Man Utd's Campbell

Hull City boss Phil Brown refuses to rule out a deal for Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.

The England U21 international is on-loan at Tottenham and would not be able to play for the Tigers this season if he was to sign for Brown.

But the manager told the Hull Daily Mail: "We can't look at him because he is not even Spurs' player.

"Who do we talk to?

"Do we talk to Manchester United, and who do Manchester United then talk to, do they then talk to Tottenham?

"There would have to be an agreement between those two clubs first before anything could happen. We are a third party in any deal.

"It just becomes a vicious circle. It is too complicated at the moment to even talk about Fraizer Campbell.

"Of course we would still be interested in Fraizer. He has always been on our radar, everyone knows that.

"Are we going to make a £7m move for Fraizer? Who knows, we might have moved past that and gone on to spending less money for more experienced players."
