Hull City are keen to close a permanent deal for Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King.
The Mirror says King, who struck twice to seal Hull's win at Newcastle on Sunday, joined the Tigers on loan until January.
But boss Phil Brown wants the former Watford star to stay permanently.
