Hull boss Brown unsure of Turner future

Hull City boss Phil Brown can't guarantee Michael Turner staying after their 1-1 draw at Wolves.

Brown said: "Everyone seems to be wanting to talk about Michael Turner. Let's talk about him. He had an outstanding game. He has been tested by the two boys up front (Doyle and Andy Keogh) and stood up to the test.

"Is that his last game? I don't know. It might be. It might not be. When people start talking silly money, sometimes you have to listen.

"We are in the year of the silly money, the silly bids. The world has gone crazy, paying £25million for centre-halves, so maybe you have to listen.

"As far as we are concerned, it is not only Sunderland. There are two or three clubs interested.

"The battle to hold on to Michael Turner will be ever-increasing for the next 48 hours. Whether Michael Turner is a Hull player at the end of the international break, remains to be seen.

"We have turned down bids already, in the last six weeks."
