Hull City boss Phil Brown admits Plymouth Argyle are asking too much for winger Peter Halmosi.

Reports claim that Hull value Halmosi in the £2m bracket, but Plymouth are demanding a sum nearer to £3million.

Brown has confirmed his interest in signing the 28-year-old and is now waiting to see if the Pilgrims lower their valuation.

"He's certainly one that we'd be interested in," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail. "But we've been given a quote by Plymouth that is way above our estimation of the player."
