Hull boss Brown not panicking over transfer plans

Hull City boss Phil Brown isn't panicking over his summer signing plans.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "We're probably one or two quality players short on the frontline but we're not going to be held to ransom either by a player or a club.

"Everyone is looking for goalscorers at this time of year - it's a nervy time for every manager. All you can do is to keep calm and keep doing your homework.

"It's not a bottomless pit of money that we've got available and we believe every player has a valuation.

"It's up to us to relax, stay focused and remain confident about what we're doing."
