Hull City boss Phil Brown is delighted with his capture of off contract PSG midfielder Bernard Mendy.

"He's a player I'm delighted to see here because he brings assets and attributes that can improve us," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I've worked with him before and I know he's international quality.

"He's got a point to prove to the international coach Raymond Domenech to get back into his plans.

"As far as I'm concerned he can only fulfil that dream if he's playing well for Hull City. He's got a great attitude for hard work."
