Hull City boss Phil Brown admits he will lean on Sam Allardyce as he prepares for his first Premiership campaign as outright manager.

Brown said: "He's a perfect model to use as far as I'm concerned, because he's been there and done it.

"He's my role model and I'll be talking to him a lot in the coming weeks because I'm determined to survive in the premiership."
