Hull City boss Phil Brown refused to offer any praise to Middlesbrough striker Marlon King after his goal scoring performance in their 3-1 win.
It was a sweet moment for the on-loan Wigan striker, who started the season on a similar short-term deal at Hull but left after falling out with Brown in January.
The Tigers boss said: "Marlon's had three clubs this year.
"That emphasises the type of lad he is.
"He got himself a goal - it wasn't a great goal from Middlesbrough's point of view and it was certainly a mistake from our point of view."
King , who scored the winner for Hull in December, predictably sought out Brown at the end of his celebration, and asked for his man-of-the-match champagne to be sent to him. Brown said through gritted teeth: "This is not a time for losing my rag."
