Hull City boss Phil Brown hopes to confirm the signing of PSG midfielder Bernard Mendy today.

"Bernard has come in for his medical and hopefully he'll go through the process we have for signing players," he said last night. "Although he's a free transfer, contract wise it's still a big commitment, but we've agreed personal terms.

"Hopefully, we'll have some news on that one tomorrow when we're back at home."
