Hull City boss Phil Brown has no regrets over his halftime blast for his players on the pitch at Manchester City earlier this season.
Brown said: "At Eastlands I chose to make a point by keeping the players out on the pitch and I don't regret doing that.
"Some people said I was right to make my point in that way, others have told me it was a mistake. People say results didn't go for us after that so what I did didn't work and alienated the players.
"But I look back on that and know in the next game against Villa I got the response I was looking for. We lost 1-0 to an injury time goal but my players put their minds and bodies on the line and that's what I wanted to see.
"So I haven't lost the dressing room because of that incident and I know the players are right with me. You only have to see the way we played at Fulham and Wigan recently to see that."
