Hull City boss Phil Brown says fit-again Anthony Gardner will be a key player for the remainder of the season.
"Anthony arrived at the club with all guns blazing because he was our record signing at the time," Brown told the Hull website.
"He'd been knocking on the England door but had missed a lot of football through injury. When he arrived here and played in the earlier parts of the season, I don't think he was involved in a losing team.
"That is the kind of player we need here and the kind we need to get back on the field of play. Unfortunately for us, it's taken a little bit longer (to get Anthony back).
"But it's not just about Anthony Gardner. It's going to be a key week in the season and a key week for a number of individuals.
"Anthony is just one of the players who is going to play a big part in what remains of the season."
