Hull City boss Phil Brown is expecting big things from new loan signing Manucho, the Manchester United striker.

Brown said: "I spoke to Sir Alex earlier in the week. We have a great relationship and he was keen for Manucho to come here.

"All signings are gambles. He has not played much at this level, or scored goals, but his pedigree is great coming from United.

"He has an aerial threat and a real presence. He is a different type of player to Fraizer Campbell but the aim is for him to have a similar impact.

"And I am sure he can. He has great stature and a good eye for goal."
