Hull City boss Phil Brown is delighted with the backing he's received in their £6 million push for Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.
"It's credit to my chairman and the board of directors that they are willing to go in with such a high bid for Fraizer Campbell, it speaks volumes about the ambition of the club," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"We have a competitive budget to say the very least and if you want to add quality, it comes at a price.
"You have to be able to compete with the clubs around you, there's no such thing as a free transfer in the Premier League.
"We've got areas of the squad where we need to strengthen but I'm relaxed about it, you have to be."
