Hull City boss Phil Brown insists Michael Turner is well worth the £10 million price tag they've slapped on him.
Brown said: "You desperately try and hang on to your better players and people have classed the price tag of £10m on Michael Turner as ridiculous.
"But that is how big a player he is for us.
"Michael played 38 games for us last year and never missed a minute.
"He is being courted by bigger clubs because of the way he can defend. Is he for sale? I think everyone is for sale.
"We've talked to Sol Campbell. He's a free transfer and an ex-international, who still has ambitions to play for England. That was the most attractive thing about it.
"But only if we lost Michael Turner would we bring in another centre-half."
