Hull boss Brown on Cesc inquiry: We just want truth to come out

Hull City boss Phil Brown simply wants "the truth to come out" after they submitted their version of events over the alleged spitting incident involving Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

Statements from Brown, Horton and fitness conditioner Sean Rush are all included in the report that landed at Soho Square yesterday lunchtime.

The FA will now consider the evidence before deciding if Fabregas has a case to answer.

"My evidence has gone in, Brian Horton's evidence has gone in and Sean Rush's evidence has as well," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"That's all that's been necessary as regards to us up to now. There's an independent solicitor representing us and hopefully there will be no bias towards any one club.

"We really just want the truth to come out. If the truth comes out then we've got nothing to worry about."
