Hull City boss Phil Brown has told fans to keep an eye on several of their local lads for next season.

It was confirmed this week that Will Atkinson, Ryan Kendall and Steve Gardner have been handed one-year extensions to their contracts and Brown is confident they will continue to progress towards first team involvement next season.

He told the Hull website: "We've moved those players on another year. Will is in his second year as a senior pro now and it's the same with Nicky Featherstone, who we offered an extension to when he played first team football last year.

"It would be a fantastic return to get one or more of these lads into the first team come the beginning of next season."
