Hull City boss Phil Brown admits he could sign Sol Campbell in January.
Brown confirmed this morning he had been offered the released Notts County defender.
"I made an offer for Sol in the summer and he went elsewhere," said Brown in the Daily Express.
"He has been offered to us again and I am not aware if there is rival interest."
Brown added: "I wouldn't be against the fact that I could speak to Sol Campbell, but I have done the chasing and it hasn't come around, so we will leave it at that. I have left it with Sol with regards to an offer in the summer.
"The ball is in his court now.
"We have got three players that will go away in January (to the African Cup of Nations) but, fortunately for me, none of them are defenders. So we will see what the next two or three games brings."
