Hull boss Brown admits admiration for Bolton striker Davies

Hull City boss Phil Brown has admitted his admiration for Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies.

"He is a player I greatly admire. He was a player we made inquiries about but he signed a new contract which killed the deal," said Brown.

"If he was to become available then I would be interested but as far as I am concerned, Gary Megson rates him after giving him a new one-year contract."
