Premiership clubs are among the scramble for Celtic trialist Amadou Alassane.
The Sunday Mail says the 26-year-old has begun a week's trial with the Parkhead side with a view to completing a £1.5million move from relegated French side Le Havre.
But while the Hoops are in pole position to sign the striker - who only turned pro three years ago after being plucked from amateur football - he's not short of options.
French sides Rennes, Lille, Monaco, Valenciennes, Nancy all want to keep Alassane in Ligue 1, while German outfit Hertha Berlin and English sides Hull and Blackburn are also in the running.
"I have lots of clubs interested in me. But the chance to play for a huge club such as Celtic is the most appealing.
"They have the best fans in the world, they play in the Champions League and are always fighting to win the league so I hope the manager likes me."
