Everton are battling Hull City for Cardiff City winger Joe Ledley.
The People says Moyes is now willing to pay Cardiff City £3million for Ledley, which is short of their £4.5m valuation - a figure that rivals Hull have verbally said they will meet.
Midfielder Ledley has been a Moyes target for months but he waited until he lost out to Marseille in the race for Stephane M'Bia.
Now Moyes is offering cash for Ledley, but could yet find he has to pay more to make the Welsh club sell their star player.
The Tigers are hoping to outbid Moyes for Ledley with Cardiff ready to sell to the highest bidder.
