Hull City have failed in their attempts to sign Yannis Salibur from Guingamp.
The Tigers lodged an appeal to complete the signing of the midfielder after they were unable to finalise the paperwork prior to the winter transfer deadline on January 31.
However, FIFA have denied Marco Silva's Hull in their bid to bring 26-year-old Salibur to the KCOM Stadium.
A club statement read: “We can confirm that our appeal to sanction the transfer of Yannis Salibur from French side Guingamp has been unsuccessful."
