Championship Hull City have been sufficiently impressed with Manchester United teenager Cameron Stewart to extend the loan period until the end of the season. Tigers rivals Cardiff City and Leeds United had shown an interest in the 19-year-old, but Stewart has opted to stay.
United's reserve-team coach Warren Joyce told the Hull Daily Mail: "We're pleased because we want the boy to do well. He's played and made a contribution in games.
"When players go out on loan they've got to earn their place in the team, and he has so far which is good.
"We get feedback and we watch the DVDs of games, and I've been speaking to Cameron two or three times a week and he's obviously pleased after Saturday."
