Robert Snodgrass is eagerly anticipating his first international outing at Hamden Park in almost three years.
The Hull City star will step out for Scotland in World Cup qualifying against Lithuania on Saturday night which will be his first match at Scottish football's headquarters since 2013.
Snodgrass, who missed Scotland's Euro2016 qualifying campaign with a knee injury, admits it is a great chance to re-announce himself on home soil to his country's football community following a hat-trick in the 2018 Russia opener against Malta last month.
"(Against) America was the last time I played there (at Hampden) but I had some good results there," Snodgrass said.
"The two games I have had in my comeback were away so to be back there with family, friends and supporters will be terrific.
"It's a chance for me to show the Scottish crowd that I'm back. I'm back from injury and working hard to get to a level I was before."
He added: "It's special to be honest.
"It's a great feeling getting the chance to play for your country first and foremost, but to be involved when we do well is great."
