Hugo Sanchez: Mourinho right coach for Real Madrid at this time

Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez has jumped to the defence of coach Jose Mourinho.

Sanchez says Mourinho is the right coach for Real at this stage in their history.

The Mexican icon explained: "Real Madrid needed a coach like Jose Mourinho to retrieve values that had been missing.

"Both (president) Florentino (Perez) like Mourinho are still the backbone of a structure that seeks to end the reign of FC Barcelona, and are on the right path.

"Los madridistas should support 'to death' the coach and players."
