Birmingham's new boss Chris Hughton is interested in results rather than being lauded for a particular style of football. Hughton stressed the fans first and foremost wanted passion from their players and results.
He told Press Association Sport: "Anything that has been said in the past is not really my concern.
"My concern is that I have a team that shows character on the football pitch, good tempo on the football pitch and enough to win football games.
"Ultimately, anyone sitting here in my position is going to be judged on the results they get. We all know that in a long tough season there are lots of ways of getting results.
"Supporters want to see a team that is out there trying to get results for their football club and showing pride."
