Chris Hughton hopes his Norwich City side can continue their brilliant run of form in the Premier League this weekend.
The Canaries were beaten 4-1 by Aston Villa in the Capital One Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday night and although that was a disappointing result, Hughton is keen to build on the nine-match unbeaten streak his team has manufactured since the second half of October.
"It wasn't difficult to pick them up (after the Villa loss) because we are on a good run at the minute," said Hughton whose side have won their past four league fixtures.
"We had managed to get ourselves into the quarter-finals of the cup competition and were probably just beaten on the day by a more clinical side.
"We have done well. I can't fault the endeavours of the lads, but it wasn't to be. We have to get back to basics and continue the league form."
Norwich sit 12th on the table with 22 points from 16 matches and take on 18th-placed Wigan Athletic at Carrow Road on Saturday.
