Chris Hughton is confident he will still be Newcastle manager next season. Speculation has surfaced over Hughton's future, with rumours suggesting owner Mike Ashley could decide to look for a more experienced manager if the Magpies secure promotion back to the Premier League.
He told The Times: "I have a contract that runs for another season after this one, so I don't see any reason at this moment why I wouldn't be manager.
"All of the job is a challenge - from what you do on the coaching side, to the management side and dealing with the issues you have to deal with.
"It all comes in one package. If you don't enjoy that challenge, you shouldn't be here."
