Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton is expected to hold onto youngsters Nile Ranger and Tamas Kadar.
The pair have been linked with loan moves away ahead of the market opening on Tuesday.
Hughton told the Evening Chronicle: "When I look at the fringe group, lads like Ranger and Kadar are so close to the first team they have a chance of playing.
"We have players like Brad Inman and Greg McDermott who are developing this season too.
"We don't need to make those decisions this week, we'll look at it again. We don't expect many more going out on loan, possibly one, maybe two."
