Chris Hughton is hoping his Norwich City side can keep producing winning results just as they did over Tottenham on Sunday.
Robert Snodgrass' 47th minute goal gave the Canaries their first victory in five outings as they beat Spurs 1-0 at Carrow Road, pushing them four points clear of the drop zone.
Hughton has been under fire in recent times with chief executive David McNally even suggesting the club would be careless not to have a plan in place for a new boss but felt a sense of relief after his team produced a much-needed win over a top-five side.
"We all feel it at this football club. We don't want to be in the position that we're in," Hughton told Sky Sports.
"Everyone at this football club is pushing in the right direction.
"We only want results. If we show the character and quality we had today then we've got a chance.
"Let's hope this is one step towards getting a few more points."
