Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is backing their U18s to beat Nottingham Forest in the FA Youth Cup semifinal.

The first-leg is played tonight at the City Ground.

"I'm really delighted for them," he said. "I'm disappointed that I couldn't go (to Everton) but I look forward to going to both of the semi-final matches," Hughton said.

"I think they've deserved it. I spoke to Neil (Adams) and Ricky (Martin) late on Friday night and I think it was a victory we thoroughly deserved, so I'm really delighted for them. It also gives us an opportunity to get a decent crowd here for the semi-final. It's nice for the team, but it's also nice for us as a club and I just hope we can do well enough to get through to the final."
