Chris Hughton has told Newcastle United fans to expect new signings this summer.

Hughton gave Toon supporters a guarantee that new signings would be added to bolster the current roster.

He said: "It's the time of year when work behind the scenes is being done each day.

"By the time next season begins I am confident there will be new players at the club."
