Hughes wants his Fulham players to get ugly

Fulham boss Mark Hughes wants his players to turn ugly.

The Welshman, who could recall fit-again Diomansy Kamara, is urging his troops to stand up and be counted.

Hughes said: "You have to fight your corner. It's a contact sport and, yes, we would like to play the right way because I think that is correct and that's the type of players we have.

"But you have to learn to win ugly and we'll have situations where we will need to add different strings to our bow.

"Sometimes away from home it's more difficult for us because of the type of team we are. So if we can add a little bit of devilment to our play, then that will help us."
