Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is targeting Atletico Madrid ace Sergio Aguero.

The Mail on Sunday says Hughes wants a world class striker signing for next season and has settled on Aguero, whose contract carries a £30 million buyout clause.

City would face competition for Aguero from Inter Milan, who are trying to hire Diego Maradona as a consultant to lure the player, who is going out with Maradona's daughter and the couple are having a baby.
