Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits the players need to inspire the Brit crowd.

Hughes senses a change in the home crowd approach.

"I think it has changed somewhat.

"I think at the beginning, when the team first came into the Premier League, the crowd was up for every game and the huge atmosphere was there for every single game.

"Now, the onus is on the team to give them something to cheer and, as soon as they do, they are 100 per cent behind them.

"Against Manchester United in our last home game they were absolutely fantastic and that's going to be important for us between now and the end of the season."
