Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is ready for crunch talks with Steven N'Zonzi.

The Mirror says Hughes returned to work today after his summer holiday and plans talks with want-away Frenchman N'Zonzi.

N'Zonzi has one year left on his Potters deal and says he will not sign a new agreement because he wants to leave to further his international ambitions.

N'Zonzi has handed in transfer requests during the two previous summers before changing his mind and Hughes wants to see if he is serious about going this time.
