Fulham boss Mark Hughes says he is ready to commit himself to the cause by signing a contract extension.
The former Manchester City manager has guided the Cottagers into the top half of the table in his first season at Craven Cottage and says he is happy to remain at the helm of the London club.
"I'm hoping to sit down with the club and talk about it," Hughes said.
"I have 12 months left and we've had initial discussions, but nothing in terms of really extending the contract.
"Obviously I'm open to conversations in that respect, because I like this club. I think it's a well-run club with good people and we can be successful."
He also said that the recent form of the team - seven wins and five draws in their past 15 - has them in a good place for next season.
"What we've done since Christmas gives you encouragement for next year," he added.
"We have good-quality players here and, like most clubs, we'll try to add to that quality in the summer.
"If we can, I feel confident the next few years will be very successful."
