Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is delighted with the way fans have taken to Emmanuel Adebayor.

"You saw the reaction of our fans and that is a big thing for him because obviously he had issues with his previous club in terms of how he was appreciated," said Hughes, who is set to give the 6ft 3ins target man his first home start against Wolves tomorrow.

"It has been quickly ascertained he will be a big favourite here."
